Enjoy Japan Actively — Presented by the Japan Sports Agency

We are holding "Enjoy Japan Actively," a program where you can experience the appeal of Japan's traditional culture and world-class competitive sports.

At Media Hiroba, a kyudo (Japanese archery) experience session led by Ken Kurosu of the Date Insai-ha Archery Research Group and a BUDO VR experience will give visitors a chance to get to know Japan's traditional martial arts.

There will also be a hero interview with Ryutaro Araga, bronze medalist in men's karate kumite +75kg at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. On the CHAMPIONS ROAD & STAGE, Araga and Kurosu will be joined by Ryo Kiyuna, gold medalist in men's karate kata at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, to talk about the appeal of their sports, their journeys so far, and what it means to take on a challenge.

It's a chance to share the profound appeal of Japanese sports and budo with all our visitors.
