Adapting the Concept of the Paris Olympics to a Form Unique to Aichi and Nagoya
OAW is an initiative that builds upon the concept of “Champions Park”—which received high praise at the 2024 Paris Olympics—and adapts it to a format unique to Aichi and Nagoya. Based on the concept of “Asia’s Crossroads,” it aims to create a collaborative celebratory space where businesses, local communities, government, athletes, and visitors work together, with sports as the starting point.
A place where athletes and spectators share their joy
We will host a variety of events, including the Medalists’ Celebration—where we honor the achievements of medalists and athletes and share the joy with attendees—as well as stage performances that showcase the appeal of athletes and the diverse cultures of Asia. Through sports, we will create opportunities for people to gather, interact, and experience the excitement of the Games and the charm of Asia.

At the venue, visitors can enjoy daily encounters with medalists, stages showcasing the appeal of nations across Asia, hands-on corporate booths, an official hospitality lounge, and more. As a new urban festival that connects people, cultures, businesses, and communities, OAW extends the value of the Games to society as a whole. By creating an open space that anyone can join — with or without a ticket — OAW also offers a chance encounter with the Games and a moving experience to passersby who simply happen to drop by.
