Sixteen Days Born at the Crossroads of Asia
Held from September 19 to October 4, "ONE ASIA WORLD" became 16 days where athletes, fans, the city, and culture all came together.
What ONE ASIA WORLD set out to create was more than a place to watch sport—it was a place where sport brings people together.
Athletes and fans. Sport and culture. The city and the Games. And people from countries and regions all across Asia.
People from all kinds of backgrounds gathered in one place, cheered in the same moment, applauded together, and shared the emotion.
It created something special—time that could only have happened here.
At the venue, talk sessions with athletes, meet-and-greet programs, competition viewing, and a wide range of stage programs sparked countless encounters.
Athletes you usually see at a competition venue or on a screen stood in the same space as the fans here, spoke in their own words, and shared smiles.
That closeness was one of the scenes that defined ONE ASIA WORLD.
The phrase we have held close is "the Crossroads of Asia." A crossroads is where many different paths meet.
People, cultures, values, and sport intersect, and from that meeting, new connections are born.
That is the kind of place ONE ASIA WORLD has always aimed to be.
And then there is Aichi-Nagoya, the stage for it all. With sport woven into the heart of the city, cheers, music, and smiles were added to the everyday scenery, turning the city itself into one great meeting place.
What these 16 days created cannot be measured by visitor numbers or the number of programs alone.
A few words exchanged with an athlete. A sport experienced for the first time. A cheer shared with the stranger who happened to be standing next to you.
Each and every one of these moments is what made ONE ASIA WORLD what it was.
We hope that the encounters and connections born here will spread out to each of your own corners of the world, and lead to new exchanges in the years ahead.
To all the fans and athletes who joined us at ONE ASIA WORLD, and to everyone who helped create this place with us.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you to all the fans and athletes for being part of ONE ASIA WORLD.
And thank you, Aichi-Nagoya, for an unforgettable time!
